Why bamboo? It's extra absorbent! Bamboo can hold more liquid for it's weight, so it makes for a popular diapering material. Bamboo inserts can be used as the insert in your diaper cover or pocket system, or to boost absorbency of any other diaper (meaning that you add it in to any diaper that it fits into, by simply laying it inside the diaper). Bamboo can be used directly against the skin; baby will feel the wetness unless a stay-dry layer is added, or the insert is used inside a fleece pocket.
Folks also like that it is a natural fiber, and a highly renewable one! Bamboo is almost always blended with another fabric, as it doesn't hold up nearly as well on its own. In this case, you'e got organic cotton as well, for a great natural absorbency solution.
Blueberry Bamboo Doublers measure 4.5 in. x 12 in. after fully shrunk.
Made from 70% bamboo viscose, 30% organic cotton.
Care
How to prepare for first use
Wash/dry bamboo diapers and inserts on hot/high several times to reach initial absorbency.
Depending on your water source and temperature, you may need fewer or additional washings for this initial prep period. We recommend washing your diapers by themselves during this break-in period. This will prevent the oils coming off the bamboo from coating your other cloth diapers.

Blueberry's 365 Day Limited Manufacturer's Warranty
Blueberry guarantees every item they sell against material or workmanship defects for 365 days from the date of purchase.
What this covers: Product stitching, seams, elastics, and any of the product’s components including snaps, hook & loop closures, and fabric holes discovered immediately upon receipt of item.
What it doesn’t cover: Leaking, odor issues, fading, staining, repelling, and normal wear and tear which includes any of the following issues that appear after 90 days of use: holes and tears in the fabric, elastic loosening, and stitching that comes loose. It also doesn’t cover hand-me-downs. The warranty applies to the original purchaser only. Proof of purchase is required.
Diamonds are forever. Diapers aren’t.
Our diapers are remarkably durable. But they aren’t indestructible, and like any other clothing item, they will eventually show signs of wear and tear and may not withstand being used and washed several times a week for extended periods of time. But, they’ll last longer if you take care of them properly. And that part’s your responsibility. Blueberry won’t refund an item caused damaged by improper care, abuse, misuse, normal fading or normal wear and tear of the product materials. The warranty is also void when washing instructions haven’t been followed; when fabric softeners, vinegar, or any other caustic substances and laundry additives have been used; and when the diapers have been subject to water or drying temperatures above 140F.
How to make a claim: To make a claim for any defects covered by the warranty, Blueberry will cover the cost to ship the item/s back to them if it's within 90 days of purchase. After 90 days, the customer pays for the shipping. Please follow the easy self service return process below.
We probably don’t have to tell you this…
…But please, please be considerate about the condition of your item before shipping them. Make sure it’s clean, stain-free and dry before you send it our way. We will not handle any items that are stained, smelly, dirty or damp on arrival. We know you wouldn’t send us anything like that. But people have! Seriously, we could tell you stories. But we’ll spare you.
It takes Blueberry 3 to 5 business days to process returns after they arrive at their facility. Once your return is received and inspected by staff (usually within 72 hours of receipt), they will either repair or replace the product and send them back out to you immediately.
About Blueberry
Hi! I'm Margarita, founder of Blueberry Diapers (formerly Swaddlebees), mom of four, and a leading expert in pee-and-poop management. Here's the story of how Swaddlebees came to be (or 'bee).
We're not like the other diapers. And we wouldn't want to be. Here's why.
Safety first.
Over the years, after selling thousands and thousands of diapers, I started to realize that we have a responsibility much bigger than just making products that won't fall apart: Making sure the materials we use are 100% safe for babies. We put just as much care and effort in creating clean diapers the same way you would in making a meal for people you love--you start with the best ingredients.
Whenever possible, we source our fabrics from the USA. This not only ensures us that the fabric is manufactured without any possible contaminants that may prove harmful to infants, but we have also found that the quality is more consistent and surpasses that of its imported counterparts. Using US-made fabrics also helps keep the textile manufacturing industry alive in the US.
We use latex-free elastics exclusively on all our diapering products. This ensures us that the possibility of babies getting an allergic reaction with sensitivity to latex is greatly reduced, if not eliminated. And just like most of the fabrics we use, our latex-free elastic are made in the USA as well.
The scary news about other diapers.
Before you wrap your baby's butt in that other brand: Did you know that most diaper companies use materials that may or may not be harmful? They can't tell you for sure that their product is safe, because they don't know. They outsource their manufacturing overseas, and let someone else source the materials.
Worth every penny.
When it comes to a baby's safety, there's no margin for error. We use the highest quality materials even if they cost more. It helps us sleep better, knowing babies wearing our diapers are sleeping in comfort.
All our diapering and nursing products are guaranteed to be free from lead, pthalates and BPA.
Taking care of business. And people.
Then, there's the responsibility to our retailers. We have to make sure that our products are well made, so they don't have to field customer service issues. We have to ship their orders fast, so they can turn it around and make their money back. We have to price our products in a way that not only makes sense for us, but for them as well. Many of our retailers are moms just trying to make a living so they can stay home to raise their own babies. We make a point of getting to know our retailers and treating them well. We also have a responsibility to keep people employed, whether our own employees, or the women that works at the sewing contractor's factories. We provide 100% coverage for all our full time employees, and nobody here works more than 40 hours a week, except for me and my husband.
China: Not so much.
We tried once to have our diapers made in China. Despite the advice of a friend, who told me it was a bad idea, I thought, if it saved us 2/3 the normal cost, how could we lose? Here's how: $30,000 dollars, hundreds of bad press from products that broke too soon, and several design knockoffs later, I realized I wasn't so smart. And, now, more than ever, keeping people here employed in the United States is more important.
Our awesome factory.
The main factory that we use in Arkansas is out in the middle of nowhere. Not even a Walmart for at least an hour, and the closest airport is 3 hours away. We work with the owners of this company because of their dedication to truly wanting to make a difference in their community.
Despite their remote location, they are a thriving business that keeps local people employed and proud of their jobs. And that helps keep us looking good too. Their dedication to quality is reflected in all Blueberry products, which are outstanding and very consistent.
Now, the fun part.
OK, enough about responsibility and safety, let's talk about the actual diaper.
There are lower priced diapers out there. They all catch pee and poop just the same as ours. And since some of them are just copies of our designs, they probably have the same fit.
We pride ourselves in having one of the most anatomically-correct diapers available. Simply put, our diapers fit great. No sagging, bunching or stuff sticking out. We carefully design our diapers to conform to the unique shape of babies to ensure the best fit, comfort and function.
What really sets us apart is that we have the biggest selection of super cool prints. I design them in house, and I can say with confidence that they kick ass!
And customers love the designs so much, they could change diapers all day long. Our diapers are that cool.
The joy of poo-catching.
What really drives me is how excited our customers get when we come out with new products, designs, and prints. Seriously. They get more excited about receiving our diapers in the mail than shoes. They call it their "fluffy mail". We actually have some customers who hate it when their baby starts potty training. They don't want to give up the fluff habit!
Changing diapers should be something to look forward to, not dreaded.
That's why we're here.
