Sample Size (Powder) - enough for 10 loads (20 loads with an HE machine)!

1 Gallon (128 ounces) - 160 Wash Loads = 22 cents/load for regular laundry
(320 cloth diaper wash loads in a top loader = 11 cents/load, and 640 cloth diaper wash loads in a HE= 6 cents/load)

32 oz. Liquid - 40 Wash Loads = 40 cents/load for regular laundry
(80 cloth diaper wash loads in a top loader = 20 cents/load, and 160 cloth diaper wash loads in a HE = 10 cents/load)

2.64 lb. Powder - 100 Wash Loads = 20 cents/load for regular laundry
(200 cloth diaper wash loads in a top loader = 9 cents/load, and 400 cloth diaper wash loads in a HE = 5 cents/load)

Ingredients

Powder: Sodium carbonate (washing soda), C12-15 Pareth-2 (surfactant), Sodium metasilicate (anti-caking agent)

Liquid: Water, sodium carbonate (washing soda), C12-15 Pareth-2 (surfactant)

Research

Sutherland Products has gone to great lengths to ensure their detergents are truly safe for the environment and children.

Flame Retardent: Charlie's Soap continued to improve the flame retardant properties after each washing to the point where the fabric would not catch fire at all. No other detergent tested improved the flame retardant properties of children's sleepwear at all.

Hypo-Allergenic: Charlie's Soap rinses clean material. Research conducted by Clemson University.

Biodegradibility: To qualify as biodegradable, a substance must be 80% degraded in 28 days. Charlie's Soap degraded over 97% in soil in 28 days and is even certified safe for use in small lakes and streams.
