Why are Twinkie Tush diapers so amazing? First, they are so VERY absorbent! Here's what's built into each one:
Outer diaper body: The outer print fabric is lined with one layer of cotton velour, with a layer of hydrophobic fleece sandwiched between. Have you ever felt velour fabric? It is sooo luxurious feeling and plush and it stands up to many years of use! Why the fleece layer? This is a unique feature of the FUSION line of Twinkie Tush diapers. The hydrophobic fleece redirects moisture that is heading outward, back inward so that it can be absorbed by all the layers inside. This means less leaks (as if anything would leak from these diapers anyway, they are simply top-of-the-line absorbent)!
Inner soaker layers: The soaker closest to the diaper body contains 1 layer of hydrophobic fleece, along with cotton velour and/or organic bamboo fleece. All in all, the soaker system (which comes in several pieces, all removable so that you can customize based on your child's volume) has 3 layers of cotton velour and 6 layers of organic bamboo fleece. So, when using all soakers, the Twinkie Tush CV FUSION has 10 layers of amazing absorbency. Wow!

In case you are new to the cloth diaper (CD) lingo, CV= cotton velour and OBV= organic bamboo velour. Don't let the lingo intimidate you! Cloth diapering is really much simpler than it seems!
Pair with a diaper cover (the outer is not waterproof). For nighttime, our customers love wool covers. If your kiddo is playing outside in the warmer weather, you can often just use a FUSION diaper and a top and be just peachy without a cover! Plus, you won't cover the super cute prints :)
