Sizing

To view a printable sizing chart, click here.
Selecting the correct size is important. Since each child’s foot is
unique, no two children will have the same fit for any given shoe size.
Please make sure to carefully follow our guidelines.
Have you measured your child's feet recently? To make sure shoes are fitted correctly, both feet should be measured
every time a new pair of shoes is bought. Ideally, visit a children’s
shoe store and have them fit your child.
Try on the shoes. If you are unsure about sizing, one way to determine the correct size
is to visit a store and try on various sizes. Over 2500 pediped™
retailers can be found on our store locator. We encourage you to visit
one of these retailers for your shoe purchase to ensure you get just
the right size.
Make sure your child is standing when you measure their feet. Proper fitting should always be done while standing, since feet happen to spread out in this position.
Can your child wiggle their toes? Toes should be able to wiggle quite freely and not be restricted by the shoe.

Our Experience

We really love Pediped shoes! They are durable, comfortable, and have flexible soles. What's especially nice is that each pair comes with extra 2mm thick insoles.
2mm may not seem like a lot, but for toddlers and children, it can really let you size up 1/2 a size. This can really save money by letting your child wear them for a longer period!
Pediped shoes do not have soles as flexible as our other soft-soled shoes (such as See Kai Run, Squeaky Shoes by Little Soles, Pedoodles, etc.). However, they are more rugged and tend to last longer, making them ideal for older toddlers and children. And keep in mind, that they are still more flexible than most other children's shoes!
Because their soles aren't quite as flexible as other shoes, we currently only carry Pedipeds in size 8 and up, for experienced runners and climbers who might need more protection and more rugged shoes.
Enjoy!
