How many shells do I need to get started?
Most Gro Baby System users will find that using 2-4 Gro Baby Shells are enough per day, although newborn babies need more.

What happens if I purchase less than 12 shells?
The manufacturer recommends 12 shells if you're using the Gro Baby System exclusively.  This ensures your shells will last.  Using less shells than this may mean they wear out sooner, since they will be washed more frequently.
