General Care The makers of Starbunz recommend that all stool be shaken into the toilet and all diapers be rinsed. Pre-wash/rinse cycle cold if necessary. Wash in hot with 1/2 amount recommended detergent for load size. For best appearance, dry separate on medium, low or hang dry. Click here to learn how to care for your diapers.

About the Fabric Inner: Cotton-based knit sherpa core covered with microfleece. Outer: Fluffy, anti-pill fleece.

Product Origins

Hi There! I'm Laura, and I am the pioneer of Starbunz, mom to 2 hyper boys and wife to a good looking computer programmer (yeah! They don't all look geeky, although personality wise he still kind of is, lol!)

Starbunz is run out of my home, with the base of production operations being about 20% of my house, and shipping being handled by my best friend Patricia in her home! We are thrilled and consider ourselves blessed that this business offers us the opportunity to stay with our kids.

I am still largely responsible for things like cutting the fabrics and applying snaps, but we have a contractor that does the sewing. These diapers are a huge battle to get made! Every appliqué has to be die cut, which is then sent to the embroidered, who receives cut diaper pieces and makes the cutesy animals. Then they come to me for hidden snaps, then off to the contractors where they meet more die cut ears, then finally back to me for the last snaps. It is about a two week process to get a run of these puppies made, and the whole time my kids and I are driving to and fro to make sure things are running smoothly. This is definably a full time job! I consider myself more a work-in-car mom than a work-at-home mom, lol.
